Description

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to escape from the side control and establish the closed guard. Frederico starts by placing one hand on the shoulder and the other hand goes under the same shoulder. He bridges over his own shoulder and pushes the opponent away to create space. He then slides one knee in and as he pushes again slides his other knee in. Frederico control both arms and squares up with the opponent. He then closes the guard on the opponent. Frederico finishes by breaking the opponent’s posture and prevents the opponent from posturing up again.
