Description

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to get a straight ankle lock submission, after sweeping the opponent using the spider guard. Frederico starts with the spider guard and places one foot in between the opponent's legs to try and sweep. The opponent defends by stepping back. Frederico controls the near side leg and places his same side leg on the opponent’s hips. He pushes with the leg and pulls the sleeve with his spider guard grip to make the opponent fall back. As soon as the opponent falls, Frederico turns face side down to finish the straight ankle lock.
