Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to take the back, after attempting to sweep the opponent with a De La Riva sweep. Lucas has the spider guard and starts breaking the grips so he can go to the De La Riva. From the De La Riva, Lucas uses the foot on the hip to push the opponent away. He then sits up and pushes the opponent on the knee to make him fall to the side as he pulls on the grips. In this scenario, the opponent defends the sweep by posting his hand on the mat. Lucas circles his De La Riva hook and places his shin behind the opponent’s leg. He pushes the opponent and when they come up, Lucas immediately leg drags the opponent. He grips the opponent on the back and when the opponent react, Lucas then takes the back.
