Spider Guard to De La Riva to Technical Stand Up (Intermediate)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to prevent the opponent from passing his De La Riva guard and using a technical stand up to get up. Lucas starts with the spider guard and then transitions to the De La Riva. As soon as Lucas places the foot on the hip, the opponent pushes it down and steps over in an attempt to start passing. Lucas bumps the opponent to make him step forward so he can under hook the leg. The inside leg is used to push the inside of the opponent’s leg. From here Lucas does a technical stand up and stands up.
