Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the straight ankle lock while in the 50/50 guard. The opponent locks the straight ankle and controls his own collar. Lucas immediately starts to come up and places his free knee on the mat. He under hooks the opponent’s leg and controls the knee. Lucas now stands up and uses his other hand to control and push down on the opponent’s inside leg. Once the opponent starts to open the legs, Lucas pushes on the knee and ankle. He then immediately steps over the opponent’s leg and controls the hip so he can go to the side control position.
