Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a sequence of techniques starting from a Guillotine defense, going through a side control escape, butterfly guard sweep to mount and finishing with the armbar submission. As Lucas is trapped in the guillotine, he block the opponents hips with one hand and block the back with the other. He then steps to the side and bumps the opponent with his knee, taking him down. Once on the ground, he applies shoulder pressure on the opponent and pulls the opponent’s wrist off and establishes side control. At this point, the opponent frames, bumps up, creates space and goes for the underhook on Lucas. Lucas then tries to swim back and regain side control, as he releases pressure, his opponent bases his elbow on the mat and shrimps out. His opponent slides his hook in and controls Lucas’ arm to perform the butterfly sweep. Once Lucas is mounted by the opponent, Lucas tries to recompose the guard. As Lucas tries to push the opponent off, the opponent back steps to establish side control. He then transitions to knee on belly and as soon as Lucas tries to push his knee off, he goes for the armbar submission.
