Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent and get to the knee on belly. Lucas starts with a spider guard. He circles on one leg around the arm so he can get the lasso position and spider. Lucas turns his hips to the side so he can break the opponent’s grip on the pants, allowing him to transition to the de la riva. Lucas now uses his legs to push the opponent away to create enough space for him to remove his de la riva hook and places that leg on the opponent’s hip. He once again shifts his hips to the side and slides his knee behind the opponent's leg. Both legs are now used to lift the opponent up and to sweep to the side. From here he keeps distance, and then moves in for the knee on belly position.
