Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to transition to a loop choke when an opponent goes for a single leg attack. As the opponent goes for the single leg, the first thing Lucas does is grab the sleeve and then the collar. Once he has the collar, he breaks the opponent’s lapel grip. Lucas then uses the grip on the opponent’s collar to push him away and then pulls him in. As he pulls the opponent in, he hops a little and places his shoulder over the opponent's head, trapping it with his shoulder and arm. Lucas then puts the foot of the trapped leg on the floor and pulls the opponent down making him post on the floor. Lucas then dives, putting his head next to the opponent’s body and as he grabs the opponent’s leg. Lucas then spins underneath the opponent and rolls to his back, landing with his head on the opponent’s torso. He then bridges up and pulls on the opponent’s collar to finish the loop choke submission.
