Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent from standing. Lucas starts with the collar and sleeve control. The sleeve control is gripping between the elbow and shoulder. Lucas steps to the side so he can be diagonal from the opponent. He then places his inside foot on the leg, as if he was going to do a guard pull. As he places the foot on the leg, he drops down and pulls the opponent down with him. The other leg is placed on the side of the torso. Lucas now pulls the arm in, kicks the leg out and pushes the opponent to the side in a scissor motion. He maintains the collar grip as the opponent is swept and then moves right into the mount control.
