Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get a mounted guillotine choke after a snap down from a tie up. Lucas and the opponent are standing and both go in for a tie up. The opponent keeps their elbow tight. Lucas ducks his shoulder under the elbow and slides his arm under and around to grip the shoulder, elevating the opponent’s arm. Lucas places his other hand behind the opponent’s neck and snaps the opponent down. As soon as he pulls on the opponent, he immediately cups the chin with the snap down hand. Lucas now uses his shoulder to turn the opponent over into the side control position while still maintaining the control on the chin. He leans forward so he can slide his knee close to the torso and then brings his other leg over the opponent to a mount position. Lucas now places his other hand over the one that is controlling the chin. He drops his hips down, squeezes everything together and finishes the guillotine choke from the mount.
