Butterfly Sweep Attempt Counter to Side Control Drill (Drill)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows a drill where he counters a butterfly sweep attempt. The opponent has established the butterfly position and starts to pull Lucas in. He raises Lucas up using his legs in an attempt to sweep. In this drill, Lucas shows how to counter this. As the opponent raises Lucas, Lucas uses his hands to post on the mat and then shifts his hips to one side. On the side he shifts to, he drops his knee down and starts to slide to the side. From here, Lucas goes to the side control where the drill is then repeated.
