Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to take down an opponent using an inside leg hook. The situation begins with Lucas and the opponent standing with no grips. He grabs his opponent’s same-side wrist and uses the far-side hand on the inside of the opponent’s elbow to drag the arm across his body. Immediately releasing the grips, Lucas steps forward with his far-side leg to wrap his leg around the opponent’s ankle. As he takes down the opponent, both of Lucas’ arms go around the opponents waist and around arm that was dragged. Lucas finishes in the opponent’s half guard. He clubs the head and uses a Gable grip to control the half guard.
