Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to get the armbar submission from the closed guard when the opponent posts both his hands on Lucas’ ribs. Lucas has the opponent in his closed guard and the opponent is keeping his posture up while placing his hands on Lucas’ ribs. Lucas loops one hand under the opponent’s opposite arm, lifting it up and then grips the wrist. Lucas brings his same side arm over the opponent's and grips his own wrist locking the opponent’s arm. With the arm locked, Lucas now climbs his legs up and gets the armbar position. If the opponent doesn’t defend, Lucas gets the armbar. If the opponent defends, Lucas releases the hand that was gripping the opponent’s wrist and uses it to break the armbar defense. Lucas then finishes the armbar submission.
