Professor Lucas Lepri show how to do a butterfly sweep to a triangle choke when he tries to do an arm drag and the opponent defends. Lucas is playing the butterfly guard and tries to do an arm drag. The opponent defends the arm drag by placing his hand on Lucas’ shoulder. Lucas releases the grips on the arm and grips the back of the opponent’s neck with the hand that was gripping the wrist. He uses his other hand to grip the arm that is being used to post on his shoulder. Lucas now tucks one foot in and uses the other to hook it on the opponent’s thigh. He starts rolling on his shoulder as he lift his leg to sweep the opponent, but the opponent reacts differently and leaves his arm out. Lucas immediately takes advantage of this and brings his leg over the opponent’s head. As he brings him back down, Lucas locks his legs together securing the triangle choke.
