Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the armbar after attempting to get the omoplata. Lucas has the opponent in the closed guard and controls both sleeves. He slides one knee in and places it against the opponent’s chest. The other leg is circled around and over the arm for the half lasso. The opponent now stands up and Lucas uses the half lasso and the spider guard to push the opponent. Lucas now goes for the omoplata and the opponent defends it by placing their knee on Lucas’ belly. Lucas now opens the omoplata and turns his knee in and once again locks his legs together. From here, Lucas gets the armbar submission. If the opponent rolls forward, Lucas keeps his legs locked and still gets the armbar.
