Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to submit the opponent with a triangle choke from the closed guard. Lucas has the opponent in the closed guard and grips the lapel with one hand. The other hand is used to go under the opponent’s arm and over to grip the head. Lucas pulls the opponent down braking his posture. He then puts his hips to the side and reaches for the belt. The hand that was used to grip the lapel now goes under the opponent's arm pushing it enough for Lucas to slide the same side knee in. Gripping the wrist, Lucas pushes the arm up and slides his leg out and places it over the opponent’s shoulder locking his feet together. From this position, Lucas releases the belt grip and finishes the triangle submission. If Lucas can’t finish the triangle, then he locks his feet together and reaches with both hands under his own knees. He grips his hands together and squeezes his legs and arms submitting the opponent.
