Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to transition to the armbar submission when the opponent is in the turtle position. Lucas is controlling the opponent in the turtle position by pinching his legs over the opponent’s hips from the back. As the opponent rolls to the side, Lucas follows him gripping the opponent’s lapel under the arm and keeping his chest on the shoulder to prevent the opponent from placing his back on the mat. From here, Lucas brings his other hand over and locks the Kimura grip. He then brings one knee up and his other leg over the opponent’s head. He releases the Kimura grip and finishes with the armbar.
