Cross Collar Choke or Bow and Arrow Submission from the Back (Fundamentals)

Description

The scenario starts with Lucas controlling the opponent’s back with both of his hooks in and the seat belt grip. He now uses one hand to feed the lapel to the other hand that is closest to the mat. Once the grip is deep and tight, he uses his other hand to pull down on the opposite collar. Lucas now comes up on his elbow and finishes the choke from there. In the second scenario, the opponent defends and Lucas can’t finish the choke. Lucas uses one of the hooks to open the opponent’s legs so he can take the other under hook out from underneath the opponent. Lucas then brings his leg over, comes up on the opponent and places his other knee up close to his own elbow. He then sits back and brings his leg over the opponent’s arm, crosses them and finishes the submission.
