Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to pass an opponents guard and establish side control when the opponent applies a knee shield. As Lucas goes for the pass, the opponent slides his knee in to prevent him from passing. Once the knee is blocking him, he grabs the outside on top of the knee with the hand that is closest while holding the lapel with his other hand. Lucas then pushes the opponents knee all the way down while at the same time he pushes the opponents shin down with his head. Once his leg is free to pass, he slides his knee thru and scoots back pushing the opponents hips and also controlling the other side of the opponents hips with the hand he was using to push the knee down. Lucas then controls the head, puts his knees up and establishes the side control.
