Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to get a cross collar choke or head and arm triangle, after escaping from the de la riva and passes with a knee cut. The opponent has the de la riva. Lucas pushes the foot down and steps over it to isolate it. He pinches his legs together to trap the knee and make the opponent square up. He pushes the opponent to the side and lifts his ankle up to go for the knee cut. At the same time he is going for the knee cut, Lucas under hooks the arm and cups the shoulder while posting on the mat with his other hand. He now adjusts his hips to remove the knee shield and sits over the leg. Lucas now goes for the cross face but in this scenario, the opponent reaches for the back of the belt to block Lucas. Lucas now uses his top hand to pull the lapel out and briefly feeds it to his other hand. He brings his top hand over and once again switches grips. He uses his forearm to push the opponent's head to the side. Lucas now reaches over to the other side and grips the collar to get the collar choke. If the opponent pushes Lucas before he can get the cross collar grip, Lucas pulls the arm across and gets the arm triangle choke. In a third scenario, if the opponent pushes Lucas forward, Lucas maintains the grips and then uses his legs to block the opponent.
