De La Riva Sweep Attempt to Back Take when Opponent Defends (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to take the opponent’s back after trying to sweep the opponent when they defend. Lucas starts with the De La Riva and starts going for a sweep. He brings the opponent in and then pushes him away. The opponent starts to cut the knee defending Lucas’ attempt. From here, Lucas instead reaches for the opponent’s back and gets the back control position.
