Sweep from Reverse Half Guard to Back Take (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent when they have the reverse half guard. Lucas starts by attempting to play guard while the opponent attempts to pass. In a scenario where Lucas goes for the sit up guard, the opponent drops down and gets the reverse half guard. Lucas now explains some concepts when in that position. He uses the lapel and hooks on the opponent’s feet to elevate the opponent. When he creates enough space, Lucas turns into the opponent to sweep. The opponent is now on his side where Lucas finishes by taking the back control.
