Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to take the opponent down when he attempts to sweep, but the opponent stands up. Lucas has the De La Riva and pushes and pulls the opponent so he can lift him up in an attempt to sweep. The opponent defends by posting on the mat. Lucas immediately circles around his De La Riva hook and places it inside the same side leg. Lucas now pushes the opponent and sits up. Once standing, Lucas can take the opponent down with a leg trip or can also leg drag the opponent.
