Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to defend a closed triangle by applying pressure on the opponent’s knee and opening it . The opponent is able to lock the triangle on Lucas. The first thing Lucas does is place his hand on the inside of the opponent’s knee. He then reaches with his other hand over the outside of the knee. He leans towards the knee side of the triangle and starts applying pressure. Lucas pulls down on the knee with both hands as he leans in. His leg is then brought over the opponent and transitions to the other side as he escapes the triangle and gets the side control.
