Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to take the opponent down using the double leg takedown and how to defend it. Lucas and the opponent start standing up. The foot that the opponent uses to step forward is matched by Lucas’ opposite side foot. Lucas now steps forward and places his knee in between the opponents legs on the mat. He uses his arms to wrap the outside of both legs, behind the knees. His head is placed next to the torso. Lucas now pushes forward and takes the opponent down. To defend the double leg takedown, Lucas sprawls and blocks the arm. He then moves his side of the arm that he is blocking to escape.
