Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to take the opponent’s back when they are in the turtle position. The opponent is in the turtle position and Lucas is behind him with his knees up and pressing them against the opponent’s hips. He reaches with one hand over and under the opponent to grip the cross collar. The opponent starts turning to the opposite side that Lucas has the grip. As the opponent turns, Lucas posts out with his other hand and pulls on the collar grip to bring the opponent down. The opponent then reacts by trying to come back up and Lucas lets him so he can slide his knee in and then Lucas drags him back bringing his other leg over and secures the back take position.
