Double Leg Takedown Defense to Standing Guillotine Submission (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri explains how to submit an opponent with the standing guillotine when the opponent goes for a double leg takedown. When the opponent shoots for the double leg, Lucas prevents the opponent from establishing grips behind his legs by using his hands on the opponent’s shoulders. Then, he establishes the guillotine grip. Lucas steps toward the opponent and stands up while bringing his hips close to his opponent to complete the submission.
