Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to apply an armbar submission when his opponent stands to defend against an initial omoplata attack. Lucas first applies a far side omoplata from De La Riva guard, but his opponent immediately stands and attempts to hold the back of Lucas' pants in defense. While the opponent is trying to grip the back of the pants, Lucas squeezes his knees together, locking the opponent's arm, and switches his grips to the opponent's hand and wrist to set up the armbar. Lucas then finishes the attack by pushing the opponent's hand toward his knee to apply the armbar submission.
