Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to the submit the opponent with a collar choke when he defends against an omoplata by rolling. Lucas first attacks with the far side omoplata from De La Riva guard, but the opponent rolls to defend against this first submission attempt. In this case, Lucas follows the opponent's movement and hip escapes to reposition his knee and lock the opponent's arm. He keeps tight grips on the collar to maintain control until he is able to adjust his hands, feeding the lapel and finishing with a collar choke submission.
