Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to take the opponent’s back after trying to pass the guard and the opponent reacts by going for a single leg. Lucas starts passing the opponent's guard and the opponent tries to prevent the pass by going for the single leg. Lucas reaches over the opponent’s back, locks the kimura grips and rolls forward. The opponent lands parallel to Lucas and tries to come back up. Lucas immediately brings one leg over and gets his hook in. He uses his leg to make the opponent turn so he can bring his other hook in and take the back. As he takes the back, he switches his grips and gets the seat belt on the opponent.
