Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to take the opponent down with an ankle pick, after attempting a guillotine. Lucas grips the back of the opponent's neck and pulls it down. He immediately brings his other arm over the back of the head and cups the chin. He makes sure to maintain shoulder pressure behind the head. Lucas attempts to connect his hands together to start working a guillotine, but the opponent defends by gripping Lucas’ hand. Lucas keeps the chin cupped and then drops down to his knee reaching the ankle with his other hand. He pulls on the ankle and pushes the opponent back using his shoulder and arm to take the opponent down. From here, Lucas can now work on passing.
