Half Guard to Butterfly Sweep to Side Control (Intermediate)

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to sweep the opponent when in the half guard using the butterfly sweep. Frederico has the opponent in the half guard and the opponent reaches over to control Frederico’s head. Frederico reaches over the opponent and controls the belt. He uses his other elbow to push the opponent’s leg down as he turns to the side. Frederico now slides in a butterfly hook in and starts to elevate the opponent. He rolls over his shoulder as he also pulls on the arm to sweep the opponent to the side control position.
