Kimura Submission from Half Guard (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to get the kimura submission while having the opponent in his half guard. The opponent starts trying to pass Lucas’ guard and Lucas prevents it by immediately trapping the opponent’s leg and getting him in the half guard position. Lucas controls the opponent’s arm by gripping the wrist. He then sits up and brings his other arm over the opponent’s arm so he can grip his own wrist securing the kimura grip. Lucas then places his back on the mat and raises the opponent’s arm over their own back finishing the kimura submission.
