Knee Cut Pass Attempt to Kimura Submission (Intermediate)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows a Kimura submission when the opponent prevents him from passing with a knee cut pass. The opponent is playing open guard while Lucas is standing. Lucas steps forward and goes for the opponent’s under hook while bringing his other arm over the opponent’s head to the mat, keeping his weigh on the opponent. As Lucas tries to slide his knee through, the opponent traps it and prevents him from passing. Lucas then steps over the opponent’s head with the leg that is free and places it against the opponent’s back. Once he steps over, he straightens his trapped leg. He goes for the Kimura grip, postures up pulling the arm and then twists it getting the Kimura submission.
