Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the lapel guard after the opponent uses it to defend Lucas’ knee cut pass attempt. The opponent is controlling Lucas’ lapel as he goes for a knee cut pass. The opponent uses the lapel guard to prevent Lucas’ knee cut pass by feeding the lapel under the leg to his other hand. He then uses his same side hand to control the lapel. At this point, Lucas controls the collar and the leg. Lucas now posts with his hand on the mat as he uses his leg to push on the opponent’s bottom bicep. Immediately after he breaks the grip, he steps back and escapes.
