Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to pass the opponent’s guard using the knee cut pass when the opponent uses the knee shield. Lucas starts to go for the knee cut pass keeping all his weight on the knee. The other leg is kept away so the opponent won't be able to reach it. The opponent tries to stop Lucas’ pass by using the knee shield. Lucas points his knee towards the center of the opponent, forcing him to turn. As Lucas does this, he connects his elbow to his own knee preventing the opponent from re-positioning the knee shield. Lucas then slides his knee back to continue the pass. The opponent then tries to go for the under hook and Lucas blocks it and then passes.
