Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to prevent the opponent from getting to the knee on belly and transitions to the spider guard. The opponent has Lucas in the side control position and tries to go for the knee on belly. Lucas prevents it by sliding his knee up blocking the opponent’s leg. He then pushes the opponent away and circles one leg over the opponent’s arm. The same leg is then used to push the opponent once again to bring his other leg out. Lucas places both of his feet on the opponents biceps and controls the sleeves to establish the spider guard.
