Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the lasso when the opponent is not wearing the belt. The opponent has the de la riva and is able to also get the lasso. In this scenario, Lucas does not grip the belt. The de la riva leg is now pushed down with the other hand. Lucas now points his foot out and drops his knee over the shin. He steps back with his other leg and keeps his distance by stepping to the side. With his other hand free, Lucas then circles the arm out and comes in and gets the knee on belly. He then transitions to the side control position.
