Lasso Sweep by Pushing Leg Out (Intermediate)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent using the lasso and pushing the leg out. Lucas is in the open guard and goes for the lasso and spider guard. In this scenario, he can’t make the opponent move forward to get the de la riva. He pulls the opponent in to make him pull back. The foot that was on the spider guard is now used to push out the opponent’s far side leg to sweep. From here, Lucas comes up to a top position.
