Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to prevent the opponent from transitioning to a leg attack, while he is trying to pass using the knee cut pass. Lucas goes for the knee cut pass and the opponent tries to defend by circling his top leg over Lucas’ arm and leg. Lucas pushes on the hip and blocks the bottom arm as he maintains his outside leg away from the opponent’s reach. In this scenario, the opponent is able to reach Lucas’ far side leg and pulls it in by connecting his hands together. Lucas now turns that knee in and places it on the opponent's chest. The other knee is then lifted. He now rolls over his shoulder as he uses his top leg to hook the opponent’s leg. By hooking the leg, Lucas spins the opponent over as he rolls to the side to take the back control.
