Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the triangle choke, once the opponent locks the triangle and Lucas isn't able to prevent it. In this scenario, the opponent is able to lock the triangle. Lucas immediately raises his hips and starts to apply pressure. He uses his hands to grip the knee and pulls down on it as he places his elbow on the mat. Lucas keeps applying pressure and turns to the side to make the opponent release the triangle. Depending on the opponent’s reaction, Lucas can slide his hand in to push the leg away. If not, then he keeps going around until he escapes. He then transitions to the side control position.
