Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the triangle choke, after not being able to prevent the opponent from securing it. Lucas is in the opponent’s closed guard and the opponent goes for the triangle. Lucas attempts to defend but is not able and the opponent locks the triangle. Lucas starts to apply pressure while controlling the same side lapel of the arm that is inside the legs. He uses his other hand to grip the opponent’s sleeve. Lucas now sits back placing both of his feet under the opponent’s arm pits while still controlling the grips. From here, Lucas can now push the legs away to escape or crosses his legs over the opponent’s legs to make him release the legs.
