Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to prevent the triangle submission when he is in the opponent’s closed guard. Lucas is in the opponent’s closed guard and the opponent unlocks the guard and shoots for the triangle. Lucas immediately grips the same side collar with the arm that is left inside. He immediately starts to apply pressure until he is able to slide his other hand inside the legs. At this point, the opponent no longer is able to go for the triangle and his only option is to go for something else. It is in this transition that Lucas is able to get out and escape.
