October 28, 2018 on 13:39 352 2

Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to counter a knee cut defense with a guillotine submission. The situation begins with Lucas applying a knee cut pass to his opponent. In this situation, the opponent is able to establish an underhook. To prevent the opponent from escaping by using the underhook, Lucas quickly shifts his weight to his other knee as soon as he passes the opponent’s leg, and then steps back over the opponent in a variation of the mount position. From here, Lucas establishes the guillotine grips and completes the choke by dropping his shoulder to the mat, lowering his hips, and arching his back.
