Rolling Back Take to Double Lapel Choke Against a Turtled Opponent (Advanced)

October 23, 2017 on 16:47 521 3

Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a rolling back take when his opponent is defending in a tight turtle position. With a far-side lapel grip underneath his opponent’s torso, Lucas traps his opponent's ankle and pulls his knee outward. Lucas then ducks his head in front of the opponent’s knee while rolling, maintaining strong grips on the knee and lapel throughout the roll. When the opponent turns away to defend, Lucas passes a hook over his trapped leg, secures a lapel grip under his chin, and pulls him to the side of the established hook. Lucas then follows with the second hook and finishes using a double lapel choke submission from the back.
