Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to escape from the side control and teaches some concepts. The opponent has Lucas in the side control position. Lucas starts by framing with one hand over the arm near the shoulder and the other behind. He bridges up and shrimps out to push the opponent away so he can slide his near side knee inside. With the knee inside, he is able to frame once again to push the opponent away. This allows Lucas to now slide his other leg inside so he can recompose the guard.
