Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to escape from the side control position and get the opponent’s back control. The opponent has Lucas in the side control position. Lucas bridges in the direction of the opponent and uses his forearm to push on the neck to create space. He shrimps out and blocks the hip with his leg. The hand used to push on the opponent is now used to under hook the opponent’s arm. As he bring the opponent’s shoulder up, Lucas scissors his legs, places his elbow on the mat and escapes to the back keeping his hips next to the opponent’s hips. Lucas then grips both of the opponent’s collars and creates space by opening the opponent’s elbow. He places the first hook in and brings the opponent to the same side hook. As he rolls the opponent, Lucas gets the second hook in and establishes the back control.
