Side Control Escape to Butterfly Guard (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the side control using the frame and get to the butterfly guard. The opponent has Lucas in the side control and Lucas starts to defend using the frame. When he creates enough space, he under hooks the arm and grips the back of the opponent. In this scenario, the opponent starts to posture up and Lucas immediately comes up on his other elbow to follow. He then shrimps back and brings his legs forward to get to the butterfly guard.
