Single Leg Takedown Counterattack to Side Control (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a counterattack to the single leg takedown. Lucas begin in standing position with one hand gripping his opponent's sleeve. When the opponent shoots for the single leg takedown, Lucas keeps his grip on the sleeve and sprawls his leg back as he sets another grip on the opponent's back. He then blocks the opponent's knee and pivots, driving the opponent to the mat. Lucas finishes the counterattack by posting and pushing the opponent's knee away to secure the side control position.
