Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows another method for getting to the knee cut pass when an opponent plays sit up guard. In this situation, the opponent traps Lucas’ ankle with his legs. Lucas blocks the opponent’s knee and steps his free leg back to the other side of the opponent, sitting with his full weight on the opponent. Lucas grips the opponent’s collar with his thumb down, continuing to push the opponent’s knee down. From there, Lucas steps back across the opponent’s body, using his forearm under the opponent’s chin to execute the knee cut pass and establish side control.
